If you thought the guy that stored five Lamborghini’s in his house garage was an impressive story then wait until you see this video that was shot in an underground parking lot somewhere in Hong Kong. Following up on our previous article on the Maserati GranTurismo MC, we’ve got our hands on a full set of high-resolution images, the official brochure and to top it off, a short video of the concept undergoing testing at the Monza circuit in Italy. The MC Concept is essentially a track-ready version of the GranTurismo S featuring an upgraded 450HP V8 engine, race-spec suspension and brakes, slick tires with 18-inch lightweight alloys and an aerodynamic package that includes a new front splitter, a boot spoiler and rear diffuser.
Inside the GranTurismo S has been stripped to bare metal gaining a FIA-approved rollcage, bucket seats and a racing steering wheel. The Italian firm hasn’t announced any plans to produce the concept but we have a hunch that the GranTurismo MC will be available for track-lovers in the very near future.

Introduced ahead of its Paris Show world premier on October 2, the X1 Concept is essentially a lightly camouflaged version of the road-going model that will hit BMW’s dealerships in late 2009. Sitting right under the X3 in the Bavarian brand’s SUV/Crossover range, the X1 will be equipped with BMW’s ‘xDrive’ four-wheel drive system as standard. Under the hood expect to see a wide range of 4 and 6-cylinder gasoline and diesel engines, hooked up to six-speed manual and automatic transmissions.

True, we would have liked to see a real-life footage of Lamborghini’s controversially styled Estoque but for the time being, we’ll have to do with this 3D animated film that allows us to check out the Italian sports carmaker’s four-door coupe concept from various angles. Revealed ahead of its Paris show debut, the 9-X Air concept previews Saab’s upcoming 9-1 premium hatch that will rival the likes of the Audi A3, BMW 1-Series and Volvo C30. Equipped with a fabric top that automatically folds in three sections behind the rear seats, the 9-X Air is powered by a 200 HP 1.4-liter turbocharged engine that runs on E85 biofuel and is matted to a hybrid electric motor.
