Shrek Third interview for NoGoodTV
Shrek the Third Trivia
* After the queen smashes her head through the door she begins to hum “These Are a Few of My Favorite Things” from The Sound of Music (1965). The voice of the queen is Julie Andrews who sings the song in The Sound of Music.
* Release prints were delivered to theaters with the fake title ‘Stone’.
* The first in the series to not have a “storybook” opening.
* Although Donkey and Dragon have five children, we only learn the names of three: Coco, Peanut, and Bananas.
* Before the princesses break into the castle, Fiona makes a bird noise to signal Snow White. She uses the same hand movements to make it as Natalie does to make a bird noise in _Charlie’s Angels (2000)_. Natalie and Fiona are both played by Cameron Diaz.
* In the final dress rehearsal before the show, there are trees warming up and holding on to poles connected to mirrors. This is a direct reference to A Chorus Line (1985), and you can hear “One” playing in the background.
* In one scene, the Gingerbread Man’s life essentially passes before his eyes. Not only does this scene make reference to “The Six Million Dollar Man” (1974)_ , but according to the sequence, the Gingerbread Man is or was married.
* The music used when the Princesses attack the castle is Led Zepplin’s “The Immigrant Song” and “Barracuda” by Heart. The soundtrack album, however, features a remake of “Barracuda” by Black Eyed Peas lead singer Fergie.

Mutt Gets $3 Million for Saving Drew Barrymore
On Dec. 10, celebrity Drew Barrymore, 27, followed through on her promise to reward her life-saving pooch with a new dog house. That’s the understatement of the year; Ms. Barrymore placed her entire Beverly Hills home, valued at $3 million, in trust with her Yellow Lab mutt “Flossie”.
Feb. 18, 2001, Flossie had awoken Ms. Barrymore and her husband Tom Green just in time to escape a devastating fire.
At around 3:00am, the dog barked and “literally banged on their bedroom door,” stated Ms. Barrymore’s spokesperson.
Some viewed the heroic act as payback for an act of kindness years ago. A friend of the family described, “Drew rescued Flossie from a flea market in Pasadena years ago and Flossie returned the favor.”
Thanks to the alert canine, everyone made it out safely before the inferno gutted the home, causing $600,000 damage.
22 months later, with the 3,600-square-foot home rebuilt, Ms. Barrymore thought it would be fitting to give it to Flossie.
“Drew and Tom love that dog more than anything in the world,” said a family friend. “They want to know she’ll always have a roof over her head.”

I don’t want to present to you this guy.
He’s rock solid T-Rex from Microsoft.
Bill Gates sucks in front of Steve Ballmer.
I like this guy very much. Much more than Apple’s Steve one - Jobs.
I’ll wait for Zune
